West Side Story told us the most beautiful word is Maria, but I’m here to tell you the most beautiful word that I ever heard is BENIGN. Benign is the word I heard this morning, and I wept with joy. Today feels much more like Christmas to me than yesterday because the fear I’ve lived with since the 18th when I scheduled my biopsy was magically lifted off my shoulders. There is no better gift in the world than a clean bill of health, and I wish the same for all of you.
