In keeping with the rules of Canada we have returned to the US to “reestablish” our residency here. We love Ottawa so much, but there’s a lot to be said for our spacious Virginia home. I love having his and hers sinks, and a walk-in shower with really epic water pressure. I’m also digging our bigger washer/dryer which enables me do laundry less often. Later today I will be able to visit my favourite grocery store – Wegman’s – where I can buy my favourite sandwich cheese – white cheddar with hatch chilis embedded  in it. Yum!

So far I’ve had a sesame latte at my favourite local breakfast place, and have plans to visit my favourite taco joints and Capitol Musibi. And last, but not least, all the smokey bourbon in Virginia, I’m gonna drink it up.
