I read A Matter of Prudence this week by Lucy Marin and I couldn’t put it down!

Imagine if all three Bingly siblings were opportunistic social climbers and also much smarter than in the original. Add to it Mr. Collins only being a little kid when his father died so he was raised at Longbourn side by side with all five of his cousins. With the Bennets’ influence he isn’t nearly as annoying as the Mr. Collins of cannon. These two scenarios make for a very different and most interesting story. Highly recommended
