In honour of May the 4th the local independent movie theatre showed Star Wars on the 1st, The Empire Strikes Back on the 2nd, Return of the Jedi on the 3rd, and Rogue One on the 4th. I hadn’t seen any of them on the big screen since I was a kid and let me tell you it was wonderful to revisit them the way they were intended to be viewed. I needed to get past the unnecessary special edition inserts, but other than that this marathon was a much needed glimpse into the past. Back when life was simpler and movies weren’t blood & breast fests.

And yes, I’m old and behind the times, but you know what? GET OFF MY LAWN!
